I’m based from Johannesburg and available for weddings in Gauteng.
I wasn’t one of those children who grew up with a camera in hand.
Creativity wasn’t something I was surrounded by. Both my parents worked traditional 9–5 jobs, and after completing my A Levels, I followed a familiar path into business school — simply because it was what I knew.
After graduating, I began teaching at a university. What started as an opportunity became a career.
Photography entered my life quietly and unexpectedly.
A student asked if I would document her wedding. I said yes — not knowing that single decision would reshape everything.
That day changed me.
I discovered that what moved me most was not the camera itself, but the emotion in front of it. The tenderness between two people. The unspoken moments. The way a wedding day holds both celebration and intimacy all at once.
Years before that, I had met a beautiful, creative woman from Northern Europe. We fell in love, we married, and our wedding day remains one of the most meaningful days of my life.
When I photograph weddings across Johannesburg and throughout Gauteng, I often think of my own.
I remember how fleeting it felt.
How quickly the day passed.
How deeply I treasure the photographs now.
As a fine art wedding photographer in Johannesburg, my work is rooted in that understanding. I know what these images will mean years from now. I know they will become part of your family history.
My approach is gentle, thoughtful and unobtrusive. I guide when needed, but I also step back — allowing space for genuine emotion to unfold naturally.
I photograph weddings throughout Gauteng — from the elegance of Sandton celebrations to romantic countryside venues in Muldersdrift and beyond. I am also available for destination weddings across South Africa and internationally.
Above all, I care about how your photographs will feel decades from now.
Not just how they look.
